Sunroom Aluminum Profile Series

Aluminum alloy is one of the main frame materials for sunrooms. The quality of the aluminum alloy directly affects the wind pressure resistance and structural stability of the portable sunroom.

Sunroom aluminum profiles come in different series, such as 60/70/80/90, where the numbers refer to the width of the profile. High-end portable sunroom manufacturers generally use 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, whose strength is comparable to steel, 16 times that of 6063-T6, and more than 27 times that of 6063-T5. It offers stability and safety, meeting the impact requirements of extreme conditions such as wind pressure, snow pressure, and hail.

The raw materials for sunroom aluminum profiles are divided into primary aluminum and recycled aluminum. Recycled aluminum is made from recycled waste aluminum. Primary aluminum is pure aluminum obtained from aluminum ore mining and then refined. Compared to recycled aluminum, primary aluminum has greater strength, hardness, oxidation resistance, and a longer service life.
